Jacko strikes again…
Jack Reynolds got off to a fine start in the Weston Baits Competition. Fishing in the Bristol Channel at Bossington between Porlock Weir and Minehead.
Jack Reynolds’ Bass Wins £50
The 14-year-old from Worlebury caught this 6 lbs 2 ozs bass. He caught it on a mackerel and cart bait on a three-hook flapper rig.
Jack, who later caught a dogfish, finished second in the match bagging himself fifty pounds in prize money.
A creditable performance for the young elite sea angler who was up against experienced senior anglers from the region.
He is a Year 10 pupil at Worle Community School in Weston-super-Mare. He is a member of Channel Anglers, Sea Angling Club. Jack is coached by James T Madsen.
