Hi, I’m Lexie I am 14-years-old and diagnosed with autism. However this has not held me back from my passion for sea fishing.
Lexie Groves – England 2023
I am in the England under 16 shore team and have won a gold medal in Sea Angling Liaison Committee (SALC) Home Nations Championships 2023 in Wales. Again in 2024 I won a gold medal in the Home Nations in Scotland.
Later this year I will compete against anglers from all over the globe at the World Shore Championships in Ireland this November.
Her father Craig said: “I couldn’t be more proud of what Lexie has achieved over the past couple of years. Two England caps and two gold medals is just a dream really.”
